| 内容記述 | Despite a shortage of doctors, regional hospitals are expected to survive while providing high quality emergency and advanced medical services to local residents under sound financial management. Under such circumstances it is critical to reduce doctors’ excessive workload and improve the quality of medical services. Our hospital has held a Doctor’s Daily Morning Conference (DDMC) since November 2003 to enhance information sharing, consensus formation and mutual cooperation among doctors and staff. These meetings have been highly evaluated by the members, especially for building working relationships among various medical disciplines and clinical indicators of our hospital have been improved. From the lessons above, it is proposed that introducing DDMC at local regional hospitals suffering from a shortage of doctors could improve the medical working environment in addition to providing benefits for hospital management. |
