| 内容記述 | 病院勤務の看護職者へ鹿児島大学大学院保健学研究科の情報を提供し、看護職の大学院への進学についての意識を明らかにし、大学院進学を推進するための基礎資料とすることを目的に調査を行った。 2012年12月に医療機関3施設の看護職220名を対象に質問紙調査を行い、178名の回答があった。本稿では看護師89名について分析した。その結果、本大学院の進学希望は15.7%（14人）で、年代別で比較すると30歳代が22.9%（8人）と最も高かった。進学希望する理由は「学びを深めたい」、「キャリアアップ」、「スキルアップ」が抽出され、進学について「希望しない」の理由は「仕事との両立が難しい」「育児・家庭の理由」、「進学・卒後への不安」、「経済的理由」、「考えたことがない、学びたいことがわからない」が抽出された。「受験資格がない」など大学院への情報不足からくる誤解もあることがわかった。 |

| 内容記述 | The aim of this study was to investigate the needs of nurses working at hospitals in A Prefecture, to whom infomation may be provided about our Department; thereby making it clear how they think about entering graduate school for nursing jobs, the data of which would be basic materials for facilitating advancement into graduate school. In December, 2002, questionnaires were sent to 220 nurses at 3 different facilities, and consequently we received 178 responses out of which 89 nurses have been chosen for this analysis. 14 nurses (15.7%) expressed their intent to enter a graduate school. By age, those in their 30's showed the highest rate(8, 22.9%). As for the reasons to enter a graduate school, typical answers were: ""want to learn more"", ""career enhancement"", and ""upskilling"". On the other hand, reasons for not wanting to enter a graduate school included ""dificulty in doing both work and study"", ""issues related to childcare and family"", ""anxiety about situation after finishing the graduate school"", ""financial reason"", and ""no idea or no prospect"". Furthermore, we found some misunderstanding in that some respondents even believed that they were not eligible. This is probably due to lack of information. |
