| 内容記述 | On the relation between the body-temperature of mackerels, Pneumatophorus tapeinocephalus (BLEEKER) angled by a long-line and its fishing-depth, the following results are obtained. The body-temperature of mackerels measured immediately after angled by a long-line is 1.3-2.4°C lower than the surface water temperature. It is found that the temperature change of the fish body in a water tank on board does not exceed 0.5°C in two minutes. Accordingly, it seems to be concluded that the body temperature of an angled fish can be used as a sort of indication of its fishing depth. |
